About our Staff

Paul McNeff, Founder - Received his B.A. degree from CSULB in Choral/Vocal Music, M.A. degree from CSUF in vocal performance and did doctoral course work at USC in choral conducting. Additionally, he has studied with many of the leading choral conducting pedagogues of our day, including Robert Shaw, Roger Wagner, and Paul Salamunovich. He has performed professionally with Opera Pacific, Irvine Camerata, L.A. Master Chorale, Pacific Chorale, Master Chorale of Orange County and the Robert Shaw Festival Singers. He has consistently led his choirs in performances that have inspired audiences throughout the world. Paul has also served as Director of Choral Ministries at the Crystal Cathedral where he led the Hour of Power Choir before a weekly television audience of 20 million. In 1997 he founded KidSingers' , an inner-city, after-school youth chorus for at risk kids in Santa Ana in grades 3 - 12. He is currently minister of music at First Presbyterian Church in Santa Ana, where the KidSingers'  often perform their concerts.
Beverly McNeff, Co-Founder - "Mrs. Cool"! With a degree in theater arts from Portland State University in Oregon, Beverly was a talent agent in Hollywood and brings years of professional performance experience to the KidSingers'  program. "Mrs. Cool" (as she is known by the kids) provides the children with the training they need to not only perform well but to increase their skills in self-esteem and confidence. In 1978, Beverly founded Miracle Distribution Center, a non-profit organization which acts as a world-wide connecting hub for "A Course in Miracles" students. She lectures internationally on the Course and is notable for her practical approach to daily living based on Course principles. She is married to KidSingers'  Founder, Paul McNeff, and they live in Anaheim Hills with their son Jeffrey.
Dalyn Sale-Whaley, Director - Miss Dalyn has been with KidSingers as a director since 2006. She works with both ACT 1 and ACT 3 as an instructor and helps fill in where instruction is needed. She is currently working on her secondary teaching credential at CSUF and graduated from CSULB with a degree in Choral-Vocal Music Education. Already an accomplished performer and well rounded musician, Miss Dalyn has performed with such classical ensembles as the Long Beach Camerata, Long Beach Symphony, and Pasadena Pops Symphony, as well as recorded all over the LA basin as a studio singer.
Kimberley Baker, Associate Director - Kimberly grew up in Grass Valley, CA and recently graduated from CSU Long Beach with a Bachelor’s Degree of Music with emphasis in Choral/Vocal Music Education. She is currently enrolled in the Teaching Credential program at CSULB. Kim is a member of the Golden Sands Barbershop Chorus of Long Beach and sings Tenor in a quartet based out of the university. In September of 2010, Kim started working as an associate director with the award winning, inner city youth chorus, KidSingers. She also She is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, a women’s music fraternity. She loves playing handbells in duets and small ensembles. Kim is also very crafty and artistic and loves to sew.
Yesenia Navarro, Associate Director - Yesenia grew up in Santa Ana, CA and attended Santa Ana High School. She has been an associate director with KidSingers since 2010. In 2009 she completed her Bachelors of Music Education degree at Chapman University. While attending Chapman she sang in both the University Choir and University Singers, which gave her the opportunity to tour Italy and sing for the Pope. Yesenia has assisted choirs at Santa Ana High School and Idyllwild Arts Summer Music Program. She is a Soprano in Meistersingers and has been a featured soloist. She loves to work with children of all ages.
