Since 1997, KidSingers has continued to be a safe-haven afterschool music program (grades 3-12) that recognizes the universal and timeless value of Creative Youth Development (CYD) through music education to mitigate challenges our youth face. Not only does KidSingers teach kids how to sing and perform, but it also engenders confidence and self-esteem with a program schedule that keeps them off the streets, away from gangs, drugs, and destructive behavior.

No matter what the future holds, working together through choral music re-humanizes today's youth, who are equally plagued by similar problems: isolation, gun violence magnified by social media, over-absorption into virtual reality, and a lack of genuine human connection.
